Events Coordinator
Sarah adopted her dog, Haven from Sato Heart in 2018 and stayed in touch with the organization ever since. Having a love and background for fundraising and events she is now the Fundraising Coordinator. Evelyn Johnston
Secretary & Foster Coordinator
Evie relocated from San Diego, CA to Wilton, NH in 2005 to continue raising her three daughters with her husband, Dave. The love of animals instilled by her parents spans over 6 decades, and she has lived with at least one dog- often more- in her life practically since birth. In addition to walks with her dogs, she enjoys playing in the garden and Grandma time with her grandchildren.
Evie discovered Sato Heart Rescue when looking to adopt a furry friend, and her special love is fostering Satos while they await their forever families.
Nancy Bartleson
Officer
Nancy moved to new Hampshire about 20 years ago and started working with the rescue at that time. She started out with fostering many awesome dogs. Six years ago she adopted her own sato Julie and enjoy going on many hikes with her. It is so rewarding to see these much deserving dogs come from Puerto Rico and go to their forever homes.
